Welcome to this beautiful 1911 century home near the heart of downtown Yorkton. Nestled on a canopied-treed street, on a lot and a half, this well-maintained century home is waiting to welcome its next owners. This character home is just walking distance to many of Yorkton's best locations. Upgrades from the original home, give space to a welcome living room parlour with an original cast iron front fireplace to help you cozy in on those frosty Saskatchewan evenings. Find ample space for your dining area and an extra sitting room before being welcomed into the warm kitchen space with more room for an eating area or home office. Patio doors let the warm south sun in and open onto the wrap around deck in the back where you can host family and friends or just relax on your hammock under the shade of the faithful maple tree. Both levels of this 2-story home boast tall ceilings making the living spaces feel even roomier. It's on the second level where you will find a large master bedroom, plus three extra bedrooms/study areas for children, guests or office space. RO is brought up to the second floor as well for your convenience. And if you love living off the land, you'll love to tap the old maple tree, which is probably as old as the house it shades. Or wait until spring and summer when you will feast off cherries, saskatoons and aronia berries, raspberries, rhubarb and grapes from a well-established vine. Plant your own food in the fair-sized garden area or seed it up for more green space. A partially finished basement gives you more room for your canned goods or other storage and the two-car garage will make everyone in the family happy with ample parking and tinkering space. This property features a chain-link fence waiting for your touch to close it off with a front gate. Don't miss this unique opportunity to own one of Yorkton's centennial homes. Wifi enabled home, upgraded for the tech savvy. Book your private tour and let its charm speak for itself.
